Katherine, a German immigrant in Israel, is trying to get off the sedative her Israeli husband is bringing her from his work as a psychiatrist. She decides to go back to her parents in Europe so she get her head clear. Ariel would not let her take their baby with her, because he's afraid she's not coming back. Over the course of their ride to the airport, The baby won't stop crying, preventing them from having the one last talk before Katherine leaves.
