The Way We Say Goodbye is a story about the allusion of friendship between two Bay Area twenty year old men stuck in the malaise of dead end jobs and unrealized aspirations. Eddie is an aspiring photographer who lacks the ambition to take more than odd jobs to make ends meet. Jerod takes whatever work he can but cannot seem to get ahead. Emotions spin out of control when a robbery attempt spurs Jerod to address Eddie's unspoken feelings and make a difficult choice that will change their friendship forever.
