RIVELLINO tells the story of the meeting of Jonas and Dr. Mascarenhas in a bus traveling in Brazil. The former has just left prison. The latter is precisely the D.A. responsible for his conviction. Taken by rage and resentment, nothing would stop Jonas from seeking revenge. Or rather, almost nothing.
