'The Elevator Pitch' is a short film about a disaffected youth's struggle against calls to conventional success. Living in a world that can only speak in soundbites and cheap slogans, he appropriates this marketing language to craft a very unique elevator pitch for the company president after a chance meeting. Suffice it to say that he takes the business philosophy of 'style before substance' to its logical conclusion... Through juxtapositions of the sacred and the profane, the private awareness and the public mask, 'The Elevator Pitch' is a radical reexamination of the fragile assumptions underlying the modern search for salvation in 'success'.
