Narcisse is jaded with the lack of job opportunities in his native Jamaica and decides to capitalize on the black magic elixir market. His best friend, Antoinette, comes to purchase some from him in hopes of getting her new husband, Mr. Rochester, to love her. Knowing the perils of his concoctions, he battles to discourage her from moving to England with him and to forget about the potion altogether.
