Obsessive Possessives is a documentary film which delves into the clandestine world of collecting. Through interviews with a motley crew of collectors (a filmmaker, music journalist, artists, architects, a retired mathematician and literally a collector of 'nothing'), the film explores the deeply personal aspects of this often misunderstood passion. For them collecting is a kind of wanderlust, an art form, as well as a philosophical project that seeks to make sense of the world's chaos and a person's place within it.
