'Sanctuaire' is a portrait of a priest whose church is to be closed and put up for sale: the family of illegal immigrants he is sheltering will lose their home, while he is losing his very purpose. What happens to a mother and young son in need of a home, and to a priest who is losing his faith? A reflection on architecture, altruism and morality in a modern, secular society.
