In the early 1960s, a small village between the Alps and Provence offered to welcome Harkis forced into exile. Around thirty families were settled in a camp below the hamlet. This marked the beginning of a chaotic cohabitation between two cultures that had no predisposition to come together. The camp's inhabitants would have to overcome many frustrations to be fully accepted. It is this winding trajectory and their feelings that these adopted Rosanais bear witness to today.
