Hamartia is a Greek term for the 'tragic flaw' that leads to the character's demise. Stan Hixon's downfall is his lack of appreciation for the life he has been afforded. Stan will be tempted by fate to finally notice what he takes for granted. But, as the things he values the least begin to slip away, Stan will soon find himself fighting to hold onto his relationships, his sight, his smell, his taste, his touch, and his hearing, or in other words, the things he should value above all else. Will he be able to overcome this test of fate? Will he be able to battle his negative karma and misperceptions, or will he fall prey to these seemingly unstoppable forces?
