The original idea for film appeared after the incident with Madonna and the hydrangea at the 68th Venice Film Festival and its huge resonance afterwards. I presented the hydrangea to Madonna and didn't expect she would loathe that flower. All that media attention to 'I absolutely loathe hydrangeas' made me think about the consequenes. It is a story of the fan whose life changed dramatically after he presented the flower to his favorite singer. The movie rises the problem of fanaticism and its unknown side and how the words of celebrities can influence the whole life of ordinary people.
