Del Más Allá (2012)

Once every year, in Huaquechula, Puebla, the spirits of the deads come back from beyond and their families welcome them with offerings. This celebration happens in the lasts days of October and the firsts days of November, and the families work in this offerings to recieve their deads the first year after they died so it can come back and meet the ones that they love for one last time. This offerings are made by artisans, and this artisans have worked in this tradition through generations, it is learn while they are kids and they teach it to their children. Because of their near relation with the dead the people in Huaquechula have learn to see live differently as everyone else sees it. Two months before the day of the dead celebration they start working in the offerings, the city becomes a great altar. Life, in Huaquechula, can only be seen through the death. Death is only a door to another kind of life. In Huaquechula people welcomes death, because it helps them live everything they have to live in the other life.
