The film is about the rich, the poor, and the government. Are we living in a world run by the rule of fair play, or instead, the rule of jungle, where the winner chases the loser to the end? In this film, violence is just an element, not the subject. Behind the game of cockfighting, I am more interested of the power structure of this society, and what it means to the rich and the poor.
