Land of Rivers

Land of Rivers (2011)

Land of Rivers is a documentary exploring the human face of climate change in one of the world's poorest and most vulnerable countries. It provides an overview of some of the core challenges Bangladesh faces as a result of climate change, told through the testimonies of communities feeling its effects. These accounts were gathered by EJF during a field investigation and demonstrate the complex and far-reaching consequences of declining environmental conditions associated with climate change. In particular, the risks posed to water and food availability, health and rural livelihoods, underlining the urgency of which action on climate change is needed.
