Martin and David are a couple of musicians from Vancouver who have come to Montreal to try their luck at getting their psychedelic power-pop band to the next level. Veronique is an aspiring actress from Norther Quebec who has come to Montreal to try and jump start her career. All of them hit an unexpected wall when faced with the linguistic duality of Montreal; none of them can speak both languages. At the end of their rope, Martin and David enter the cafe where Veronique works. She is just about to close, but she has something that the tongue tied Martin wants. They soon figure out there is only one language they both have in common: music. What she doesn't realize, is that Martin is there to rob her!
