Two distinctly different-looking individuals walk the same path on the same day. Klepto Wife goes her sunny way, looking lively and cute, fulfilling the promise of her nickname as she uses her sly abilities to steal from her unwitting victims. Woofy, one of her dupes, is a slacker-looking gothic teenager; though he appears to be rough around the edges, he walks down his path quietly minding his own business. It seems as if the world around him has somehow begun turning in reverse, but in reality he, like Klepto Wife, is walking backward. They have a lot in common but never connect, even when she victimizes him. In this quirky silent experimental short, we experience first-hand how appearances may be deceiving via an existential metaphor.
