Two sisters struggle with the loss of both parents. Their father is MIA in Iraq and their mother was victim to a random act of violence. After witnessing her mother's death, Rebecca ends up in a mental institution. One year later due to funding issues, the county wants to send Rebecca home to her sister, Mandi, creating one more problem for this newlywed expectant mother to overcome. At the same time the two men that killed their mom are plotting to kill the one witness against them, Rebecca.
